Did you know that Grimaud is made up of two parts? On the one hand, its lagoon (Port Grimaud) and on the other, its medieval village. During your ride on the little train, you’ll discover these two facets of Grimaud:
- The medieval village of Grimaud: this is the historic heart of Grimaud. Perched on a hill, this charming medieval village features narrow streets, traditional stone houses and a feudal castle. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding Var region, including the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
- Port Grimaud: Port Grimaud is a modern seaside marina. It was built in the 1960s and is famous for its canals, bridges and colorful houses. This unique site combines elements of traditional Provencal architecture with city-on-the-water concepts.

Grimaud’s little train will take you to discover the most beautiful monuments and corners of this attractive Côte d’Azur town:
- The medieval castle: all that remains today are the ruins of Grimaud castle, which offers a panoramic view over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
- Port Grimaud: seated on the little train, you’ll be able to get up close and personal to admire the canals, colorful facades and charming bridges.
- Église Saint-François d’Assise: this modern church boasts remarkable architecture.
